NEW CRIA 2019
We welcomed 15 new cria to our farm this year and what a fantastic selection we have. 7 male and 8 female cria arrived between April and August this year.
Amongst our births are many who we hope will be ones to watch in the show ring, displaying impressive fleece attributes at this early stage. Ones to watch include
Pemberley Tignanello (Dam Furze Park Pennant and Sire Koo Wee Rup);
Pemberley Caruso (Dam Artwork Playmate and Sire Snowmass Bronze Royalty of ARW);
Pemberley Alchemist (Dam Furze Park Chico and Sire Valley Alpacas The Diplomat);
Pemberley Velvet Gold (Dam Artwork Amber Gold and Sire Snowmass Velvet Voyager of ARW);
Pemberley Velvet Saffron (Dam Popham Apricot and Sire Snowmass Velvet Voyager of ARW);
Pemberley Tarantino (Dam Furze Park Solstice and Sire Furze Park Fury);
Pemberley Kanga (Dam Furze Park Koala and Sire Morning Star Rigel of FPA);
Pemberley Moondance (Dam Woodbine Greycen and Sire Cedar House Long John);
Pemberley Peregrine (Dam Town End Stella and Sire Sudell Jacob).
CRIA 2018
We welcomed five new cria to the herd at Pemberley in 2018. The numbers were reduced this year due to the need to bring forward the birthing season next year.
Our first born, Luna already has a wonderfully dense fleece that is quite remarkable and she looks very promising. Luna is one of three grey girls born this year.
Matilda arrived shortly afterwards, a beautiful rose grey girl whose mum is one of our real characters, Florence.
Next to arrive was Willow. She is a stunning fawn girl but gave us all a big fright during a difficult birth with mum Emelda. We nearly lost both and the birth was very dramatic and emotional. Willow needed a plasma transfusion, heroically supplied by her "dad" Reuben.
Next to arrive was Rafferty. A lovely solid black male, the only male born in 2018.
Finally we welcomed Indigo, another stunner. A lovely classic grey girl who is one to watch in the future.

PEMBERLEY EXPANSION
We are fortunate to have secured more acreage in an adjacent field near to our farm.
Fencing has been completed and we await delivery of a new portable field shelter.
This will enable us to move our stock more regularly to help with paddock management that has been particularly an issue this year following the long, wet winter and subsequent dry summer.
BBC ESSEX QUEST
We were thrilled to be asked by BBC Essex Radio to take part in their Essex Quest Treasure Hunt show on Sunday 10th June.
